EC Harris pools multinational cover

EC HARRIS plans to implement a multinational pooling arrangement for its life assurance and income protection benefits so that each of the organisation's subsidiaries will band together to run the schemes as a single global vehicle.

The property consultancy pooled these benefits in the UK and Ireland in January, with a view to rolling out the same arrangement to other locations in which it operates.

It currently has a presence in more than than 20 countries worldwide. Pooling will provide global consistency for its reward strategy and achieve effective administration.

The multi-national pooling arrangement will also offset the risk involved with offering benefits abroad and will help lower costs.
