Total Motion Vehicle Management launches fleet risk system

Total Motion Vehicle Management has launched an online fleet risk management system to help employers meet their duty-of-care responsibilities.

The system manages all vehicles driven on company business, regardless of ownership and all drivers regardless of employee status. It includes modules for authorising drivers and vehicles, creating and managing fleet policies and risk assessments, and monitoring vehicle usage, accidents and maintenance.

It can also be used to ensure that drivers and administrators complete every task and record each piece of information required.

Simon Hill, managing director of Total Motion, said: "Our research shows that most businesses, large and small, do not do enough to protect themselves, particularly when it comes to the 'grey fleet' of privately-owned vehicles.

"Our fleet road risk management system is specifically designed to enable businesses to take control of their risks in a simple, practical and cost-effective way."

Employers can decide how much day-to-day administration to take in-house and how much they wish to outsource to the provider. The system costs £3.50 a day, based on a fleet of 50 vehicles/drivers.
