Retailer Aldi (pictured), financial services firm Edward Jones, bank holding business Monroe Bank and Trust and workforce management organisation Populus Group are among those recognised on 2018’s Top workplaces in Michigan list, compiled by Energage and Deloitte Free Press.
The list collates information via employee surveys and ranks large, medium and small-sized businesses based on staff feedback, organisational culture and employee benefits.
Organisations that feature in the large employer list include management consulting firm Accenture, professional services organisation PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and family-owned business Real Estate One.
ESG Automotive, Gazelle Sports, Sachse Construction, Michigan Mutual and The Townsend Hotel were all recognised within the medium-sized employers list, while Balanced Home Care, Douglas Dynamics and MadDog Technology were ranked as part of the small employers list.
Karen Philbrick, vice president of HR at Populus Group, which ranked at number 23 in the small employer category, said: “We’re so excited to be named one of the top workplaces in Michigan. For us, it’s all about growing a culture and workplace that our amazing employees are proud to be a part of.”
Employers were able to celebrate these achievements at an award reception at Royal Oak Music Theatre in November 2018.
