Beelivery introduces new benefits and payroll programme

On-demand grocery delivery service Beelivery has introduced a new employee benefits and payroll service to meet the demands of its growing organisation.

The organisation, which has expanded its full and part-time workforce from 20 to 108 members of staff due to phenomenal growth, has introduced a new pay-as-you-earn (PAYE) compliant payroll service and will give staff access to provider Hive360’s employee benefits app Engage.

Beelivery selected Hive360 to help prepare the firm for the future, as it moves into the next phase of its strategy to be the biggest and best online delivery service in the world.

The app provides employees with mental health support through an employee assistance programme, a 24/7 GP service, and health advice; retail and leisure discounts; and access to online payslips and the employee’s pension dashboard.

Alexandra Eno, people and culture manager at Beelivery, said that the app has seen the business’ employee engagement average at more than 80% every month, having a positive impact on levels of happiness and resulting in feedback stating that it is one of the best parts of working for Beelivery.

“Via the customised Beelivery Engage app, our team has 24/7 access to a number of discounts and savings on cinema tickets, meals out, shops and businesses, which are genuinely helping them stretch their wages further, which is so important as the cost of living continues to skyrocket. They can also check information about their pension and use the app to review pension performance and explore the impact of changing contributions.

“Engage also means Beelivery achieves its aim to support the team’s health and wellbeing, with a range of support and services, including instant, confidential access to an NHS GP or counsellor,” Eno added.
