Recruitment business Evona and active investment management firm Man Group are among those who have been shortlisted for the Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Benefits category at the Employee Benefits Awards 2022.

This accolade recognises the most effective healthcare and wellbeing strategies implemented by organisations with fewer than 1,000 employees.

The full category shortlist is:

  • Blood Cancer UK
  • BNP Paribas
  • Centrica
  • Evona
  • Man Group

Last year, AWE (pictured above) won the Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Benefits award. The judges believed that the organisation had a clearly articulated benefits strategy and a three-pillar approach. They were impressed by the adaptation of its selection process to ensure that the desired integrated service was what it wanted and with its engagement improvements and mental health interventions.

At the ceremony, Cleo Howie, wellbeing manager at AWE, said: “It really is wonderful to be externally recognised for all the hard work that we’ve put in over the past two years. There’s really tough competition, other organisations here are brilliant and really inspiring, but we are so thrilled that our healthcare benefits have been recognised.”

The 20th annual awards, which is highly anticipated event each year by members of the reward, benefits and HR industry, recognises the hard work carried out by teams during 2021 across 22 different categories and celebrates best practice and excellence.

Two new accolades have been introduced for 2022: the Best Benefits to support Menopause, Fertility or Pregnancy award and the Best New Benefit to Support Employees Post-Pandemic award.

The winners will be announced at the Employee Benefits Awards 2022 summer party, held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 24 June. Guests can enjoy a champagne reception, three-course lunch, a celebrity host and an after-party that will include live music, dodgems, a carousel and a big wheel in the venue’s private grounds.
