EXCLUSIVE: Most employers (70%) feel they have been successful in improving the health and wellbeing of staff, according to research by Employee Benefits and Health Shield.

The Employee Benefits/Health Shield healthcare research 2018, which surveyed 162 respondents and was published in August 2018, also found that providing a duty of care ranked highly in terms of success (61%), and being seen as a caring employer followed close behind (60%), although at a drop of 14% from last year.

Interestingly, getting employees back to work as soon as possible was not reported to be as successful as last year, with the number of respondents claiming to have achieved this dropping from 53% to 43%.
