Co-operative Employee Benefits links with Co-operative Bank to launch current account benefit

Co-operative Employee Benefits has linked with The Co-operative Bank to allow employers to offer staff access to the bank’s Current Account Plus, with a £100 cashback.

To qualify for the £100 cashback, employees must open a Current Account Plus before 31 December 2012, use the dedicated switching service to transfer a minimum of two direct debits, and credit the account for three consecutive months with £800.

The benefits provider’s product portfolio also includes: childcare vouchers, a bikes-for-work scheme, energy and home-phone discounts, and legal services.

Pete Westall, general manager for Co-operative Employee Benefits, said: “We continue to build our benefit portfolio to ensure that we can offer suitable benefits to everyone who works at organisations that use our services.

“We understand that some staff will not use the childcare vouchers or other services, but we still want to help them, so we hit upon this solution in collaboration with The Co-operative Bank.”
