Employers’ ongoing reviews of their benefits communications programmes was one of the most impressive findings among Employee Benefits Awards’ finalists, said Adam Brooke, vice-president, employee benefits and wellness manager at JP Morgan, in an interview with Clare Bettelley, associate editor of Employee Benefits.
He added: “I’ve seen take-up figures of 70% and 80%, and the employer is still going out … asking employees for feedback. I think we can all learn from that.”
Brooke also said that one of the most interesting entrants in the communications category was an employer that is using social media with which to engage with its employees.
He said: “[The employer] asked employees for feedback and really kept in touch with them on an ongoing basis.”
Winners of the Employee Benefits Awards 2014 will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC in London on 27 June.
