VIDEO: Neil Morrison: Awards finalists embrace benefits technology

The use of technology in creating access to benefits for employees wherever they are is really exciting, said Neil Morrison, group HR director at Penguin Random House Group, one of the Employee Benefits Awards judges, in an interview with Debi O’Donovan, editor of Employee Benefits.

He added: “I’m really interested in how we use technology within HR to make communications better, [and] to make services better for employees.

“I was really impressed by some of the innovation in the entries, such as the use of e-learning, the use of [applications], the use of website and video, and various different blends of these to get messages across and appeal to employees in different ways.”

The winners of the Employee Benefits Awards 2014 will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London, on 27 June.
