Lovewell’s logic: Success deserves to be celebrated

Debbie Lovewell-Tuck

One of the things I love most about my role – and there are many – is judging the Employee Benefits Awards each year. One of the reasons I became a journalist is that I’m intrinsically curious and the whole judging process presents a real insight into what employers are really doing for their staff.

I’m also a firm believer in celebrating success. In today’s business world, there can often be such a strong focus on results, that it can be easy to overlook some of the steps on the road to achieving these.

This is why every single one of the employers that made the shortlist for the Employee Benefits Awards 2016, announced this week, should give themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.

Whatever the outcome at the awards ceremony on 3 June, all of these organisations deserve to be congratulated. In some categories, competition was so fierce that some very good entries didn’t quite make the shortlist.

If you’d like to join us to celebrate with the winners on 3 June, see all the details you need.

In the meantime, I’d like to personally say a huge congratulations to all of our finalists.
