Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers set for branding change

Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers will be rebranded as Computershare Voucher Services as it is integrated into the Computershare Group.

The rebranding process, which begins this month, will drive developments within the business in areas such as technological growth, the administration of childcare vouchers and increased use of the internet to give more control over the perks.

For example, Computershare Voucher Services will provide more information about the transactional history of vouchers, making it easier for carers to match a payment made with a voucher to a child.

Measures will also be taken to ensure vouchers can be amended or cancelled by carers or parents online. The firm also plans to increase the number of processes carried out online for employers.

Simon Moore, managing director of Busy Bees, said Computershare was keen to promote its rebranded childcare voucher alongside Computershare Plan Managers, which provides services for employee share plans.

Computershare, which acquired Busy Bees in September 2008, is investing £3 million in technology. The childcare voucher brand Leapfrog will also be integrated into Computershare Voucher Services.

The full rebranding process is due to be finished by the autumn.
