VIDEO: Andrew Garner: EVP has to be broken down into component parts

The employee value proposition (EVP) has to be broken down into its component parts, said Andrew Garner, author of Smart moves – successful strategies and tactics for career management, in an interview with Debi O’Donovan, editor of Employee Benefits.

He added that the employee value proposition embraces, in its component parts, an organisation’s remuneration and culture.

“The best cultures are those that create a sense of transactional relationships, which are built on trust, rather than loyalty,” he said.

Garner delivered the closing keynote address on recrafting the employee value proposition at the Employee Benefits Summit in Alicante, Spain on 25 June.
