Comet has promoted Richard Beeby to group reward manager. In this role, he will be responsible for the strategic direction of reward for Comet, along with its sister organisations, such as Laskys and Comet On Call.
Beeby has held three previous HR positions at Comet over the past five years – HR business partner, HR business programme manager, and reward analysis and implementation manager. Before joining Comet, he was a personnel manager at Morrisons for three years.
Beeby said: “The biggest challenge at the moment is to carry on with a reward strategy that rewards individuals but does it without costing too much. It is making staff see the value of their total reward and providing benefits that staff really appreciate.”
