Cars and fleet – definition – Company car

A company car is a car provided to an employee as part of their reward package. In most cases company cars are provided because the employee needs it in order to carry out their job. In some cases, a car is provided as a perk of the job for private use and is not necessarily used for business. The employer may own the car outright, or it may be provided by a fleet management company.
