Airbus UK has issued total reward statements to a section of its workforce to aid retention. The move has also been undertaken with a view to launching a flexible benefits scheme next year.
It has targeted the statements at its 2,000 highly-skilled engineers to ensure these employees are fully aware of the value of their benefits.
Steve Dumbleton, rewards manager, said: “Traditionally, we have had low attrition rates, but we have some world class experts in our engineering section so if we lost just one person it could be very damaging.”
The firm plans to send the statements, provided by Vebnet, to all staff by the end of the year.
Sanctuary Housing is also rolling out total reward statements to its staff over the next two years.
