HR Dept partners with LogBuy to offer voluntary benefits

In order to offer online voluntary benefits to its 1,500 small- and medium-sized employer clients outsourced human resources support firm, The HR Dept has partnered up with voluntary benefits provider LogBuy.

The staff at these employers, which have between one and 250 employees, will be able to access discounts at major retailers as well as local businesses.

Tom Doherty, general manager at HR Dept, said: “We wanted to offer our customers a high value benefit at a low cost.”

HR Dept communicated the scheme in January through its monthly newsletter. It is also being communicated by word-of-mouth among its businesses.

Doherty said: “We see it as a very good product for a small business. They cannot compete at the high level with private health insurance or other typical corporate benefits, but it is a nice thing to be able to give as opposed to a pay rise.”
