The new funds include four external funds, three of which are rated by independent investment research consultancy Morningstar OBSR, and two news funds from sister organisation Royal London Asset Management.

The six funds are:

  • Blackrock Emerging Market Tracker.
  • M&G Global Dividend.
  • Sarisan Agrisar.
  • Standard Life Global Absolute Return Strategies.
  • SL Global High Yield.
  • SL Short Duration Global High Yield.

Lorna Blyth, investment marketing manager at Scottish Life, said: “Through a mixture of adviser feedback and market analysis, we have identified funds for which there is a significant level of demand.

“Scottish Life selects funds which either increase coverage into new sectors or which have a strong track record of delivering competitive returns to provide real value.

“We focus on building a strong fund range, and keeping it at its best.”
