Grosvenor Health has completed its acquisition of Health Sure UK.
Grosvenor Health. which is a Birmingham-based provider of occupational health services such as pre-employment fitness for work assessments, on-site health surveillance, sickness and rehabilitation management, pensions and insurance adjudication, will fund the acquisition of Glasgow-based Health Sure UK via existing cash resources and funding supplied by Close Ventures, a venture capital trust investor,and Bestport Ventures, an independent and entrepreneurial provider of development capital.
The company supplies services to more than 300 clients whose employee numbers range from five to 80,000 and represent a broad range of industry sectors including the emergency services; financial services; NHS trusts; retail, automotive and utility companies.
Health Sure UK Ltd’s management team, led by Dr Freer and managing director James Brannan will remain in place and continue to develop the wellness-based services. As well as specialising in health screening, it also provides occupational health, absence management and rehabilitation services. Health Sure’s clients include FTSE-100 companies in sectors such as retail, telecommunication and banking.
