EXCLUSIVE: Almost three-quarters (74%) of HR and benefits professionals received a cash bonus in the last 12 months, according to research by Employee Benefits .
The Employee Benefits Salary survey 2014 , which questioned 361 staff with responsibility for managing benefits and reward in UK organisations, found that bonuses are most commonly linked to the performance of respondents’ organisations (89%), followed by personal performance (74%) and team or departmental performance (12%).
A fifth of these respondents (20%) received a bonus worth between £2,501 and £5,000 last year, with just 4% receiving a bonus of more than £25,000, despite 10% having had the potential to earn a bonus of this size.
However, a greater proportion of respondents (12%) received no bonus at all.
