Home Retail Group has launched financial education for staff in association with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to help employees make the most of their money.
The firm held presentations last month at nine of its distribution centres as well as at its head offices in Milton Keynes and Wallington. More than 1,100 employees have so far intended. Staff have also been provided with CD-Roms and leaflets on how to manage their finances.
Staff were given tips about mortgages, investments, saving, credit ratings, borrowing and protection.
Debbie Cam, benefits manager at Home Retail Group, said: “With the current financial challenges that we all face everyday, there is no better time for us to provide colleagues with financial education to enable them to better review their finances.”
