Friends Provident produces new guide to corporate investment platforms

A new guide aimed at helping employee benefit consultants and trustees unlock the full potential from corporate investment platforms has been produced by Friends Provident.

The guide highlights the features and benefits of the tool plus a step-by-step fund dealing cycle illustrating the scale of the efficiencies platforms provide.

It follows the launch of the provider’s own corporate investment platform in March.

Russell Welsh, head of corporate pensions sales at Friends Provident said: “Corporate investment platforms not only offer greater choice and efficiency, they can also provide peace of mind with better security and governance.

“The smart technology eliminates human error by automatically validating fund information and accelerates investment administration. We believe the true value of corporate platforms is yet to be realised but hopefully our guide will raise awareness and articulate how this can make the lives of employee benefit consultants and trustees easier.”
