On-site estate management organisation Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work organised a zip wire activity for the 9,000 employees based at West London business campus Chiswick Park on Thursday 28 June and Friday 29 June 2018.

The zip wire, which was set 50 metres above the ground, was available for all 9,000 employees that work at the Chiswick Park site, across organisations such as Danone, Discovery, Foxtons, Paramount Pictures and Starbucks. 587 employees registered for the event via Chiswick Park’s community app, called District Tech, before a final ballot selection process. A total of 312 employees participated in the zip wire activity.

The zip wire ran from level nine of Chiswick Park’s Building 7 for 300 metres to finish at the site’s entrance. Employees could reach speeds of up to 70 miles an hour while traversing the zip wire.

Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work organises more than 40 different events annually for employees based on-site. It has also introduced a ‘Making Life Easier’ programme, which provides 20 concierge services during office hours.

Chiswick Park is set within 33 acres of landscape gardens, including a lake and a waterfall, and also houses more than 45,000 square foot of retail space, including a Virgin Active gym, restaurants, convenience stores and pop-up traders and street food vendors.

Matt Coulson, chief executive officer at Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work, said: “There is no limit to making our [employees] enjoy themselves. We do our best to create memorable experiences at Chiswick Park and the zip line is definitely one of them.”
