The organisation, which owns brands such as Stella Artois, Budweiser and Corona, will be launching the financial education programme at events at four ABInBev sites, including its UK headquarters in Luton.

The events, which will take place on 15 July, will include flyers and a big screen with more information about the financial wellness programme and how the software works. The events will also be used to demonstrate to employees how their benefits fit around their finances.

The programme, provided by Nudge Global, will become part of ABInBev’s overall reward package.

ABInBev will be using Nudge Global’s technology, which provides employees with personalised financial education as their personal circumstances and legislation changes.

The financial education programme will provide staff with personalised and predictive education about their finances via home and work smartphones.

The programme is also being championed by ABInBev’s charitable foundation, Fonds Verhelst, which works to improve the lives of ABInBev’s employees and their families.

Rory McLellan, people director at ABInBev, said: “We have a really good and varied reward programme that is based around flex. There are lots of wellness elements, but until now, nothing really focused on financial wellness, so we are delighted to be adding financial education to our reward programme.

”Not only is this an attractive benefit in its own right, it also completes our wellness offer and helps us communicate our other benefits.”
