Wealth management firm HFM Columbus has acquired Christchurch Benefits, a London-based employee benefits specialist.
Under the terms of the acquisition, the existing team at Christchurch will remain in place.
Jeremy Hoyland (pictured), chief executive officer of HFM Columbus, said: “For us, this has been a great opportunity not only to add £750,000 a year of revenue and £40 million of assets under management, but to further strengthen our employee benefits division, managed by director Jason Lines.”
David Birnage, owner of Christchurch, added: “Continuation of client service by our existing staff has been very important at the same time [as] being able to offer wider services and expertise through the specialist divisions within HFM Columbus.”
The move follows HRM Columbus’ announcement of the acquisition of financial planning and accountancy firm Hamilton Field Strategic Planning in June 2015.
