Clothing and accessories retail organisation Fat Face has launched a new salary sacrifice mobile phone scheme for its 3,000 UK employees.
The benefit, Phonescheme, provided by Grass Roots, was introduced in June 2016. The scheme enables staff to save up to 42% on the cost of a mobile phone.
The scheme was introduced following employee demand. Some 20 employees have already taken up the benefit.
The scheme will run alongside the current benefits available to Fat Face’s employees through salary sacrifice arrangements, such as personal computing and bikes-for-work schemes, provided by Grass Roots.
Simon Kelly, HR systems manager at Face Fat, said: “Fat Face loves [this scheme] because it’s allowed our employees to utilise the best mobile phones and spread the cost over a year. We have a young working demographic, and being able to offer employees the opportunity to access high-priced technology is important to us.”
