Accountancy firm Harris and Co held an outdoor activity day for it employees to encourage employee engagement and team building.
The Yorkshire-based organisation swapped its usual summer social for the outdoor team-building event following feedback from staff.
The event included a series of fun games such as archery, darts, memory games and an obstacle course. Staff also engaged in team tasks such as collecting balls from a bucket when blindfolded.
The organisation’s employees attended the activity day, provided by Team Activ, on Friday 8 July. The activities aim to enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
Nichola Hawden, ACA CTA, associate partner at Harris and Co, said: “We have organised a summer social event for our staff for many years as a thank you for all their hard work, but it has usually been a traditional meal or evening at the races. This year, based on feedback from our staff, we decided we wanted to do something different and of a team-building nature.
“Our staff really enjoyed it and we’ve had some great feedback from them, and we’d definitely do it all again.”
