Buck Consultants has appointed Mike Tyler to lead its health and productivity practice in the UK from 1 July.
Tyler will succeed Adrian Norris, who is retiring in September, and will be working closely with him over the next three months to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Tyler is a well-known figure in the healthcare industry and joins Buck following a successful career with Mercer where he was UK chief operating officer.
Prior to that, he was Mercer’s health and benefits leader, building the practice up to be the largest in the market.
Most recently, Tyler ran his own consulting business, while being involved in many projects in the healthcare and benefits world, including the role of director for Club Vita (a subsidiary of Hymans Robertson).
Adrian Norris’s retirement ends an outstanding career at Buck, spanning 21 years. Since joining the company in 1990, he has been instrumental in ensuring the success of Buck in the UK, helping to build the healthcare practice which he has led for the last 11 years.
