There will be a session at the Employee Benefits Summit on the consistency, transparency and flexibility of global mobility.
The session will be led by Tim Wells, director at Wells and Co Consulting (pictured) and former global mobility manager at Britvic Soft Drinks, who will discuss how global mobility is changing to suit different generations.
“Mobility is going through a transformational phase as Generation Y comes into the workforce,” said Wells. “With the invention of Facebook and LinkedIn, and increased accessibility to data and information around the globe, [employees] are coming into the workforce with a much more global mindset.”
Different generations expect different approaches to global mobility. For instance, Generation Y expect to have the option to work overseas as part of their career path.
