Rather surprised the Group Income Protection scheme provides 2 x or 4 x salary. I can’t say I have heard of a provider prepared to cover to this level or are Sky self insuring?
I am also not sure how this level of cover would leave a long term absentee with any compunction to return to work, which is often an important, albeit subjective, factor to consider for this benefit to work.
Or is this Group Critical Illness or Group Life Assurance cover?
