VIDEO: Neil Morrison: Award winners connect benefits to business needs

Successful finalists in the Employee Benefits Awards demonstrated a connection between their benefits initiatives and their business needs, said Neil Morrison, group HR director at Penguin Random House Group, in an interview with Debi O’Donovan, editor of Employee Benefits.

He added that the standout entries were very clear about the needs of the business, and described why they were looking at the intervention or initiative, and how these would help the organisation progress.

“The real connection between the need and the solution makes it a lot easier to judge when you’re reading a lot of entries,” he said.

The winners of the Employee Benefits Awards 2014 will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London, on 27 June.
