Barclays is offering staff the chance to win tickets to advance screenings of Disney’s new movie Pooh’s Heffalump. All employees are eligible to apply for one of 900 pairs of tickets to the screenings, which will be held in nine cinemas across the UK on 13 March. The competition is advertised by an animated Heffalump on the bank’s intranet site. Hannah Ross, category manager for staff and pensioners, said that the perk was linked to a customer promotion to help boost employees’ understanding of the bank’s new child trust fund product, which has been launched following a new government policy. "When we’ve got promotions for customers, we try to do something for staff as well because it’s nice to offer them something exclusive."
