BBC launches cycle-to-work scheme

The BBC is to launch a cycle-to-work scheme after staff expressed a strong interest in receiving the benefit.

The scheme, which will be launched as part of the broadcasting company’s first phase of flexible benefits, will open for enrolment this month before going live on 1 April.

Approximately 20,000 UK staff who are employed on either permanent contracts, or ones which have a period of at least 12 months left to run, are eligible to take part in the scheme.

The perk has been communicated to staff using onsite roadshows.
