John Chilman, director, reward and pensions at FirstGroup, said: “We continue to improve our travel perks. We do not want to be doing a lot of administration and we thought this would be a way of cutting down on that.”
FirstGroup has also revamped its benefits portal, ‘First my rewards’, to give staff a greater overview of their perks.
“We wanted a ‘holistic’ approach to reward,” said Chilman.
