Bosch Group has appointed Aon Hewitt as its global actuary from 2012.
Aon Hewitt will be responsible for services in Germany and in another 28 countries world-wide. The domestic heating and hot water manufacturer employs 283,500 employees internationally.
Aon Hewitt, which has advised Bosch since 2007, will also be managing accounting consolidation for some 250 benefits plans already in place and supporting Bosch in further developing its global benefits governance.
Uwe Kolasa, who headed up the selection team at Bosch, said: “A global actuarial mandate will significantly increase process efficiency for complex benefits accounting.
“The effective interplay of a regional service and central consolidation, as well as a new focus on integrated governance aspects were important to us. We are sure Aon Hewitt is the right partner to improve Bosch’s positioning even further in this respect in the future.”
