Mercer has partnered with Life Academy to offer financial education seminars for employees approaching retirement. The seminars have been added to Mercer’s workplace savings product.
The seminars will help employees plan and manage their finances for retirement, including their pensions benefits, savings and investments. Tax and estate planning, and buying an annuity will also be covered.
Broader issues relating to lifestyle, managing relationships, and health and wellbeing will also be addressed. The seminars will be held across the UK between May and November.
Mercer’s workplace savings product allows employers and trustees to outsource administration and record-keeping, and offers assistance with scheme governance, communication and engagement. It also provides consultancy services relating to investment, while facilitating better outcomes for employees and responding to changes in legislation.
