The University of Lincoln is to run a number of free activity sessions for staff ahead of this year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The activities are aimed at celebrating the Games, raising awareness of wellbeing and lifting morale. They include Frisbee, archery, trampolining and Greek dancing, and have been timed to coincide with the arrival of the Olympic torch in Lincoln in June.
Ian Hodson, reward and benefits manager at the university, said: “We hope the sessions will encourage people to get involved and try something they may not have considered. Engagement has been incredibly positive.”
