Could employee cooking lessons catch on?

A British cookware organisation is teaching its US employees how to make a Yorkshire pudding.

ProCook, which has stores in Maine and New Hampshire, have created one-hour training courses so that their sales staff can tell customers the difference between the British favourite and the American popover (light hollow roll made from egg batter).

The tasty course syllabus covers the history and evolution of the Yorkshire pudding, including recipes and taste tests.

Training courses are a good way to increase employee motivation and engagement, but it is doubtful that employers will see much benefit on the health and wellbeing side by giving staff Yorkshire pudding tasting sessions.
