Senior management attitudes to wellbeing beginning to change

EB Summit 2014: Convincing senior management of the business benefits of employee wellbeing is a key part of the business case for such initiatives.

Employee Benefits polled delegates at the Employee Benefits Summit in Alicante, Spain, on 14 May to identify how senior management attitudes have changed in the past five years.

More than a quarter (26%) of respondents have seen a noticeable difference and 57% have seen a slight difference in senior management attitudes in the past five years. 

Are senior managers in your organisation more likely to recognise the business benefits associated with employee wellbeing than they were five years ago?

57% – Yes, but the difference in attitude is slight.

26% – Yes, there is a noticeable difference compared with five years ago.            

14%– No, because they do not recognise the benefits.   

2% – No, because they have recognised the benefits for a long time.
