The Body Shop introduces self-service HR module

The Body Shop has introduced an HR and payroll solution that includes a self-service module allowing staff to claim holiday as part of its wider green strategy.

Employees will now be able to fill in time sheets, holiday requests and training forms online. The tool is provided by Northgate HR and will cut down both time and paper waste in the HR process.

Justin Taylor, HR partner at The Body Shop, said: “Our work with Northgate HR enables us to improve efficiently and provide better service for employees. By cutting down on the amount of paper used in the HR process, we’re also able to strengthen our commitment to the environment.”

The Body Shop first outsourced it’s head office payroll to Northgate in 2003 and this latest deal, worth £1m, will last for a further four years.
