Thomsons Online Benefits has launched a health and wellbeing programme for employees that includes learning accounts as a flexible benefits option.
The programme, which was launched in October, kicked off with a group walk to work and a healthy breakfast for all the firm’s 100 employees in the UK.
This was followed by a month of activities for staff that included free group workshops with health and wellbeing expert Dr Dorian Dugmore.
To promote the learning account flex option, staff were treated to a choice of taster classes in French and Mandarin, as well as guitar lessons. If staff decide to pay for lessons through a learning account in their flexible benefits scheme, Thomsons will match the payments made for courses pound for pound.
