Caring Homes Group has launched a voluntary benefits scheme for more than 5,000 employees.

Since the care home operator introduced the scheme, provided by Personal Group, earlier this month, more than 25% of employees have taken it up.

The benefits available via the scheme include access to more than 8,000 on and off-line retail discounts.

It is available to employees across the organisation’s 132 care homes and at its head office locations in the UK and Jersey.

Its communication strategy included face-to-face group presentations, one-to-one meetings and written communications.

Martin Gash, group HR director at Caring Homes Group, said: “Operating in a competitive employee retention and attraction environment, Caring Homes Group wanted to offer its employees a flexible package of voluntary benefits, providing the widest range of selectable discounted high street products and services.

“And it comes in good time for them to be able to take advantage in the run up to the holiday season.”
