Under employee share schemes, such as share incentive plans (Sips), where staff buy shares each month, the lower the price the more shares they are buying. In a market that has apparently bottomed out, taking advantage of low share prices can maximise the benefits on offer. Likely movements on the stock market must, however, be carefully considered before offering this to staff.
