CIPD affirms flexible working’s retention power

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has countered recent research from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) that showed increased dissatisfaction with the impact of family friendly employment laws, such as flexible working. The CIPD said in Flexible working: impact and implementation that 75% of employers found flexible working has a positive effect on staff retention, while 70% experienced better staff motivation.
