Drewett off to BP

Graham Drewett has been appointed reward and benefits manager, UK operations, for BP.

He was previously compensation and benefits manager UK, at LogicaCMG before joining BP in August. Drewett has replaced Richard Secombes, who has since retired.

Dennis Bell has been appointed as compensation and benefits manager, UK, for LogicaCMG. Bell was previously the firm’s compensation and benefits manager with responsibility for pensions.

Drewett described his appointment as "a new challenge" having spent seven years working at LogicaCMG, which employs 6,300 UK staff. In comparison, BP has 17,000 UK employees. "It’s different in scale and I haven’t worked in the oil industry before," he said.

He added that it was too early to discuss any proposed changes to BP’s benefits package: "[It’s] got most of the benefits you’d expect, and some share-based plans as well. [Its] star benefit is a defined benefit pension scheme which is still open to new members."
