Emirates Airlines has appointed Watson Wyatt to provide pensions administration and accounting services to the Emirates Group Provident Scheme.
Emirates Airline operates an offshore defined contribution scheme for Dubai-based pilots, licensed engineers and senior managers. The scheme has approximately 3,500 members and is growing by about 500-to-700 members a year. Watson Wyatt won the contract in an open tender process.
Nick Foxton, manager human resources (benefits) at Emirates Group, said: “One of the key attributes that Watson Wyatt could offer was a true multi-currency solution. In addition, we were impressed with the branded web solution allowing members to access real-time data and carry out on-line transactions.”
