2 Sisters Food Group to launch voluntary perks

2 Sisters Food Group is to launch a voluntary benefits plan, an employee assistance programme (EAP) and an online health assessment programme in November 2013.

The benefits, which are provided by Personal Group, will be available to the food manufacturer’s 24,000 employees at 47 locations around the UK.

The scheme will also be offered to staff in the Netherlands and Poland under a different provider.

The voluntary benefits plan will be available online via a web portal and offline via a hard copy benefits book.

The EAP will provide support across a range of areas, including marital and family matters, financial and tax issues.

Employees will also have access to telephone counselling, online support and specialist helplines, alongside a new online health assessment programme.

Kirsty Derry, HR director at 2 Sisters Food Group, said: “We have a culture where everyone counts, we work as one team, and where every penny counts.

During our negotiations, Personal Group showed it understood both our business and our people, and its face-to-face delivery of the voluntary benefits programme gave us great confidence that the take-up and usage of the programme will be very high.”
