Interface Europe changes DB pension adviser

Carpet tile manufacturer Interface Europe has appointed KPMG to provide a range of trustee services for its defined benefit (DB) pension scheme.

These include actuarial and investment consulting, as well as administration and payroll services.

The scheme, which is closed to future accrual, has around £100 million of assets and 1,400 members.

Simon Carlton, trustee of the Interface Europe Pension Scheme, said: “Changing adviser after being with the previous incumbent for over two decades was a big decision for us.

“KPMG has shown it can offer a seamless approach across its administration, actuarial and investment teams, which is something the trustee was keen to achieve.”

Ian Warman, partner and head of pensions for the north east at KPMG, added: “It is particularly pleasing [because] we have worked with Interface on several projects over the last ten years and our appointment has come as a result of the track record we have established.”
