Tui Travel engages staff with non-cash reward

Robert Cross, head of reward, UK and Ireland at Tui Travel, is to lead a session on the importance of non-monetary reward at Employee Benefits Live.


The session, ‘Delivering a true total reward strategy’, will also emphasise the importance of listening to employees and understanding the employee demographic.

Cross said: “It will reinforce that simply throwing money at employees doesn’t necessarily drive engagement, that individual employees have unique aspirations and circumstances, and that a well-thought-out reward strategy will help employers meet employee expectations.”

Cross will also share experiences from Tui Travel, including how the organisation uses reward to drive long-term engagement, using recognition as an instant reward and bringing employees closer to customers through awareness days.

Employee Benefits Live will be held at Olympia National in London on 24 and 25 September 2014.
