Hogwarts seeks to recruit wizarding staff

Something for the weekend: Wannabe wizards will be rubbing their hands together at the latest recruitment drive from Warner Brother Studio Tour London, as the movie studio hunts down candidates to work in the hallowed halls of magicking school Hogwarts.

Those looking to work with JK Rowlings’ fictional Harry Potter series will attend a recruitment assessment day on Friday 22 September 2017, with spellbinding performances earning successful candidates the chance to work at the studio’s The Making of Harry Potter tour.

Job-seeking muggles can apply for roles as interactors, sales associates or warehouse associates, which provides them with the opportunity to explore the famed school of witchcraft and wizardry for themselves.

According to Warner Brother Studio Tour London’s recruitment site: “The warm welcome that visitors receive from all our employees makes a huge difference to their excitement and enjoyment of the Studio Tour. If you have enthusiasm, personality and a flair for customer service, this could be the place for you with either a full-time, part-time or seasonal role.

“Our visitor hosts are the frontline team, responsible for meeting, greeting and assisting our visitors upon arrival and again when they depart. Our knowledgeable interactors are full of behind-the-scenes filmmaking secrets, which they are eager to share, and our retail associates help visitors find the perfect souvenir following their special day with us.”

Here at Employee Benefits, we cannot think of anything better than grabbing a wand and heading to work at Hogwarts every day, although we imagine it is all too easy to get hooked on nibbling chocolate frogs alongside an 11am cuppa in the Great Hall…
