Poll: Around a third cite employee wellbeing as the key driver for their 2019 benefits strategy

2019

Employee Benefits poll: Around a third (30%) of respondents cite employee wellbeing as the key driver for their organisation’s benefits strategy in 2019.

A straw poll of www.employeebenefits.co.uk readers, which received 76 responses, also found that 22% of reward and benefits professionals will be focusing on employee engagement for 2019, while 20% will centre their 2019 benefits strategy around talent attraction and retention.

A further 20% of respondents believe a key driver for their 2019 benefits strategy is cost efficiency; this compares to 7% who feel their 2019 benefits focus will be on diversity and inclusion.

As January’s ‘new year, new me’ mindset continues, it is pertinent that the employers polled want to mainly concentrate on employee wellbeing, engagement and retention, perhaps to prove that the grass is not always greener to employees who are considering jumping ship.
